Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (AIM/ASX: CFU), a leading developer of small-scale electricity generators that use fuel cell technology to convert natural gas into electricity and heat at high efficiency and low emissions, has appointed Mr Clifford Ashby as an executive director.

Mr Ashby has over 20 years of extensive general and financial management experience and has previously served on the board of an ASX listed aquaculture company as managing director and as a non-executive director thereafter. He has also served on many private company boards and been company secretary of an ASX listed agribusiness company.

Mr Ashby, a chartered accountant, joined Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited in July 2013 as the Chief Financial Officer and is the senior executive in the Australian operations.

Ceramic Fuel Cell Limited's Chairman, Mr Alasdair Locke, said "we are pleased to welcome Clifford to the board of the company. His broad commercial and financial skills are relevant to our international business and his leadership attributes will assist with the management of our Australian operations."
